Kidz World Childcare Centre is seeking a Registered Early Childhood Educator & Early Childhood Assistant interested in both Full-Time & Part-Time positions. We are looking for someone who is reliable, punctual and loves working as a team! At Kidz World we offer a fun, healthy, supportive and respectful work environment with a fantastic community of families!

Full-Time/Part-time, Monday – Friday
Full-time 40 hours/week
Rotating shifts; 7am-4:30pm, 8am-5pm, 9am-6pm

Qualifications for RECE:

Early Childhood Education Diploma
Registered Member in Good Standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators
Minimum 3 years experience working in a childcare setting

Qualifications for ECA:

Minimum 3 years experience working in a childcare setting

Responsibilities:

Planning & Facilitating consistent daily programming based on the interests of the children
Create inclusive environment
Knowledge of ELECT & How Does Learning Happen
Daily documentation of children’s development and interactions
Understand and comply with the Child Care & Early Years act (CCEYA)
Complete daily classroom responsibilities
Follow Health & Safety protocols
Communicate effectively with staff & families
Able to utilize the HiMama app

Requirements:

Standard First Aid and CPR- Level C certificate
Vulnerable Sector Check dated within 6 months of hire date
Up-to-date immunizations and TB test

Our goal at Kidz World Childcare Centre is to create and support positive relationships between all families, parents, children and staff. Our open-door policy allows parents to be included in various and enjoyable occasions.

    The ratio in the program is one teacher for every three children, with a maximum of ten children and three teachers per room. Our Infant program accepts children from the ages of 6 months through to 18 months and is designed to create a loving and warm environment.

    The ratio in the toddler program is one teacher for every five children, with a maximum of 15 children and three teachers per room. Our toddler program is designed to meet each child’s individual needs by accommodating an adaptable schedule, including indoor and outdoor activities.

    The ratio in the preschool program is one teacher for every eight children, with a maximum of 24 children and three teachers or 16 children and two teachers. Children are encouraged on a daily basis to interact and communicate in a positive way and support their ability to self-regulate.
